About UsMSD Technology Sdn Bhd - (579628 - U) (MSDT) is a company incorporated in Malaysia having its registered office at No.13 Jalan Puteri 5/20, Bandar Bukit Puteri, 47100 Puchong, Selangor. MSDT initial core activities were websites and portal development.
 
MSDT involvement in the Digital Divide (DD) program began when it participated in the site survey program conducted by the Japanese International Co-operation Agency (JICA) for its pilot DD program. During the implementation of the pilot program by JICA, MSDT was able to learn about the concept and many other important elements associated to the DD initiatives which would later proves to be useful especially in formulating strategies suited to the Malaysian context and style on how to address the DD issue.

MSDT is the flagship of the Group and the incorporation of the other entities arise out of necessity due to the requirement of the project as well as the expertise brought in by the Management. There are currently 3 companies (excluding MSDT) under the Group comprising of the following:-

ProductsAlthough most of the products developed by MSDT are inclined or tailored towards the DD program, the Company has subsequently added or developed new non-DD base products utilizing its current resources. Among the products under its stable are:-
 
 
 
 
PartnersIn addressing the DD issues, the main component being the provision of equal access and opportunities, many elements need to be looked into to ensure that the program will meet its objectives and targets. It cannot be implemented by a single entity but a concerted effort by various entities and agencies. Hence there are many parties involved during its planning and implementation stage. However the most important player in the whole exercise would be the Government which would be the driving force behind the entire program. Whatever role the partners play, whether it’s major or minor, they bring along with them their expertise, knowledge and technology for the benefit of the underserved communities.
